Pratap 'Tap' Ramanathan and Vikash 'Vik' Suresh have a combined experience of over 2 decades in staffing and recruitment services across IT and Non-IT domains.
Tap founded Redefined Corp in NY, USA back in 2003 and has successfully helped Fortune 1000s to startups recruit 100s of talented resources to date.
He is instrumental in designing the talent evaluation framework which lays the foundation to the augmented intelligence loop and recruiting ops.
Vik joined Redefined Corp in 2017 to head the Indian Operations and now spearheads the ideation, strategy, and product management for Recorem.
An engineer in mind and entrepreneur at heart, Vik inspires a team of energetic enthusiasts to help bring this idea to practice.
Why did they build Recorem?
When clients often need passive talent with niche skills, job portals have been inefficient as a source. This led them to seek alternate channels like communities, meetups groups, events and forums to discover their candidates. Vik & Tap realized professional events brought the best results in identifying talent invisible on traditional job portals but recruiting at scale through events is practically hard because it is manpower intensive.
The challenge was in identifying passive job seekers among the attendees with the right skills. Some conferences and summits have an option to list jobs in their event but 95% of applications are not qualified. It was the culmination of all these factors that led to the inception of Recorem.
